TIPMAN History Milestones

Partner of the Automotive Industry

TIPMAN started in 2003 with the development and production of peripheral equipment for MIG/MAG arc welding. The company is a spin-off of KYOKUTOH, the Japanese specialist in electrode tip handling. 

TIPMAN has locations in the major automotive regions of Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. The headquarters of KYOKUTOH Europe GmbH with responsibility for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) economic region was opened in Munich/Germany in 2011 and has been steadily expanded over the years. In November 2022, the headquarters were relocated to Unna near Dortmund in order to combine it with the technical and logistics center there. Our sales partners in various countries also offer our customers excellent service and support on site.
